Summary
This role focuses on leveraging data insights to develop and execute sales strategies, analyze spanet and channel performance, and ensure revenue targets for the North Asia region are achieved. To work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize promotional campaigns, reduce cost-of-sales, and improve overall sales effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Sales Planning and Strategy
Develop and execute sales strategies to strengthen Scoots position across spanets in the North Asia region.
Analyze sales data by spanet, point-of-sale, and distribution channels to tailor strategies and meet revenue targets.
Monitor channel performance, identify gaps, and design action plans in coordination with various stakeholders to ensure objectives are achieved.
Assist in crafting strategies for B2B (agency-driven) and B2C (consumer-direct) sales to drive route-specific growth.
Review and reduce Cost-of-Sales, maximize revenue, and evaluate ROI for sales initiatives.
Driving Growth, Sales Activities, and Coordination
Plan and drive promotional campaigns to increase sales conversions and achieve business goals.
Collaborate with Pricing, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams to optimize promo activities and initiatives.
Work with commercial teams to explore new product offerings and drive ScootPlus and ancillary sales effectively.
Align internal policies and processes across Sales regions for seamless sales activity execution.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
Provide timely and data-driven sales performance reports and dashboards to facilitate effective decision-making.
Monitor competitor activities, spanet trends, fare changes, and capacity insights to plan strategic actions.
Collaborate with Business Intelligence units to tailor analytics tools to meet Sales requirements.
Use analytics tools to forecast demand and identify areas requiring targeted support.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or a relevant field.
Experience in sales planning, spanet analysis, or a related role on a regional-level portfolio.
Proficient in analytics and data visualisation tools like Tableau, Excel platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Relevant experience in aviation or travel industry sales is advantageous.
Analytical and articulate, able to remain calm under pressure.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills to collaborate across departments.
To be based in China and willing to travel within China and to HQ in Singapore.
