This is a position for a frontline manager located in Bangalore in support of the Jeppesen company (aka Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions). The position will report to the Operations Manager. The candidate will work closely with local Jeppesen leadership, external agencies and vendors to proactively support the business needs related to the Jeppesen Bangalore site. This includes but is not limited to Boeing infrastructure (office facilities), employee services, and safety and security (disaster planning and business continuity) within the assigned location, payment process for vendors. Additionally, the candidate will provide frontline leadership for Site Operations & Facilities personnel in Europe and Asia. Leading a team of ~12 individuals across ~6 sites.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.
Position Responsibilities:
General job responsibilities for the Bangalore site:
Implement innovative principles of space planning in tune with Business requirement
Responsible for all Employee services including but not limited to Food, transport, vending, events, telecommunications etc.
Maintaining excellent relationships with various leaders & taking care of any related business requirements.
Engage with leadership and proactively anticipate business requirements
Coordinating with Landlord to ensure smooth building operations
Manages and support integration of activities like facilities occupation including facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning as required from time to time
Ability to manage small and large projects.
Responsible for Asset management i.e. end to end life cycle of an asset until disposal & taking care of quarterly/annual physical verification of assets.
Responsible for completing vendor payment processing & coordinating with relevant business partners(s)
Responsible for ensuring safety & security at the site, and implementation of Employee Health and Safety policies
Ability to collaborate with other functions like Finance/HR/Security etc. when required to deliver the assigned scope of work.
Responsible for representing at various audits like Quality/ISO/BCP including recertification(s)
Sharing input on annual budget allocation & tracking planned vs actual spent along with proper reasoning of deviations (if any).
Maintain emergency response procedures.
Manage end-to-end site operations with a special focus on driving value through service delivery improvements, cost saving initiatives etc.
Should have knowledge of required permits to maintain compliant facility operations.
Ability to ideate, develop, lead, and execute operational excellence projects.
Plan and manage operational budgets.
General job responsibilities for Manger of teams at sites in Europe and Asia:
Manages and oversees employees performing site operations & facilities in Europe and Asia
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Maintaining relationships with Site leaders & enabling local team members to take care of any related business requirements.
Engage with Site leadership, local team members, and proactively anticipating business requirements.
Plan and manage operational budgets.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree is required as BASIC QUALIFICATION.
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written communication in English
Demonstrated successful management experience and be capable of leading teams in different locations
Must be a proactive, assertive, high-energy individual who can work efficiently in an environment where priorities can change frequently
Should exhibit mature and independent judgment, initiative, and flexibility
Preferred Qualifications:
Good to have bachelors degree required OR Graduate in hospitality / facility administration.
Relevant experience working in Real Estate/ Facilities Management /Shared Services/Administrative environment
Should be able to demonstrate strong collaboration skills
Must be highly responsive and maintain exceptional customer service standards
High levels of discretion are required. Demonstrated experience of working in a confidential environment
Quick learner & has eye for detail
Be computer literate with excellent experience of MS Office. Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
Experienced in working in a multicultural environment
Experience working within a US based or aerospace company would be advantageous
