Location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems.

Task description

• Independently development and assessment of the variability model for the Future FAL project (including aircraft customization range of leadtime and workload)

• Autonomously development of model of the reconfigurable stations and integration into the overall FAL 3D model

• Define test description and support plan for “Proof of Concept” demonstrator

• Coordination with the Project Industrial System Engineer and securing simulations reflect the 3D model

• Gathering needs and constraints from various stakeholders and documenting these requirements for the Future FAL

• Preparation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Required qualification

The work task requires knowledge and skills, which are usually provided by a relevant, completed degree with a standard standard period of study of 4 years with a degree and extended subject-specific additional qualification or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways

Expertise

• Advanced knowledge in system engineering, MBSE, MOFLT and value assessment

• Profund experience in Catia V5 or 3Dx industrial design applied to jigs, industrial safety and conception

• Experience in managing the maturity of new technologies and supporting gate reviews 

• Knowledge/understanding of the process that manages the customization, production, and delivery of commercial aircraft to airlines (FCO process) and its impacts on industrial system stability

• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• You are a team player, organized and autonomous person with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility

• Fluent in English, German would be a plus

• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
