The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager to join our Specialized United States (U.S.) Infrastructure Operations Team in Seal Beach, CA or Huntington Beach, CA.
This position will focus on building an Information Data Technology and Security (IDT&S) Infrastructure Support team, supporting several proprietary programs across the U.S. The is a fast-paced position within our Specialized U.S. Infrastructure Operations team, leading new technology insertion, meeting new program commitments, and meeting our compliance and regulatory needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Works with program leadership on day-to-day program execution and staffing/resource management in building an innovative Information Technology (IT) Team
Leads projects to insert new technology to meet our program, compliance, and security needs
Assesses asset management to provide cost-effective solutions right-sized for the environment
Performs long range business planning, acquiring and deploying capital, and managing budgets
Provides consultation and support to our business leaders to meet their technology needs
Develops and executes project and process plans, implement policy improvements and changes, set operational goals for the groups, and acquire resources needed to continuously improve the work product
Reduces risk by managing the portfolio of technology solutions at the highest levels of modernization
Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
5+ years of experience within information technology
5+ years of experience working within an Agile development team
3+ years of experience in a managerial role
3+ years of experience working with, designing and improving business processes
Experience leading diverse teams, people, and environments in the IT Industry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Agile or SAFe certifications
5+ years of experience in the Digital Transformation Environment (DTE)
5+ years of experience with project management
5+ years of experience of leadership
5+ years of experience supporting closed areas

Summary pay range: $161,500 – $218,500
