The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Associate System Administrator to join the team in Berkeley, MO.
As a System Administrator and member of the team, you will help build, optimize, and secure the technology that supports the Apache Training Systems environment. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting a secure network, with additional experience in patch management. Collaborate with Senior System Administrators and internal teams to ensure a seamless integration of hardware, software, and networking components.
Position Responsibilities:
Install, configure and help maintain multi-platform systems hardware, software and components
Perform the troubleshooting and restoration of routine service operations (backups/restores, networking, and domain-related functions)
Integrate and configure security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
Participate in the development of custom Linux and Windows images for deployment
Integrate security solutions into information systems
Participate in the planning and execution of upgrades and patches for operating systems and software
Participate in developing training guides, knowledge management articles, and processes and procedures
Automation of tasks utilizing PowerShell, bash, or other platforms
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience using LINUX operating systems
1+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing secure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) solutions
Proficient in LINUX and Windows commands, developing scripts using shell programming with Bash or PowerShell and additional scripting languages like Python and Java Script
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active US DoD Security Clearance
CompTIA Security+ certification (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)
2+ years of experience with Windows Operating Systems - Win10/Server 2016 and Newer
Experience with VMware or other virtualization technologies
Experience with Cisco networking environment
Experience with configuration and management
Experience with network fundamentals

Summary pay range: $68,850 - $93,150
