Role Summary
* In this role, you will serve as a Metrology & Calibration Specialist supporting military and commercial programs, including 777X, 737MAX, 787, P-8, Tanker, and others. You will calibrate, certify, and test measurement and test equipment, develop procedures, and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* An AA degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A minimum of 3 years of calibration and certification work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with Flow, Pressure, Linear Measurements, Temperature/Humidity, Electrical, or other Physical Metrology processes.
* Ability to work 100 onsite in Seattle, WA, and relocate at own expense if necessary.
* Successful completion of training, including on-the-job or formal classroom training, is a contingency of assignment. Preferred Skills
* You will have
* Experience with electrical calibration/certification.
* Certified Calibration Technician (CCT).
* Experience in the aerospace industry.
* PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) experience.
* Experience with LabVIEW, C++, or Access.
* Experience writing and configuring automated software and hardware tests. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Support and plan activities to conduct and document tests on measurement and test equipment.
* Coordinate test requirements and determine test methods and capabilities.
* Conduct routine tests, analyze data, and document results.
* Maintain and revise test procedures.
* Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related problems.
* Work under general direction.
