Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform industrial engineering and methods/process analysis to support production and tooling operations for aerospace programs, including Air Force Trainer, bombers, tactical fighters, autonomous air vehicles, rotorcraft, advanced sensors, space vehicles, satellites, weapons systems, and commercial aircraft. You will analyze, design, and implement improvements to production systems, develop and maintain labor standards and tooling plans, and support scheduling and operational performance metrics while maintaining strict quality and process standards. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced education.
* A minimum of 6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience applying standards to work instructions, updating precedence networks, and developing performance metrics.
* Experience analyzing production and tooling plans to optimize labor, tooling, and resources.
* Ability to participate in negotiations supporting schedule commitments or statement-of-work impacts.
* U.S. Person status required for export compliance purposes. Job Duties & Functions

* Apply standards to new work instructions.
* Update precedence networks supporting tooling and production schedule decisions.
* Create and maintain engineering performance metrics.
* Integrate modular tooling.
* Analyze current and future business environment to develop forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans.
* Develop and maintain complex Business System factory definitions for manufacturing planning.
* Develop labor hour estimates for production and tooling work packages.
* Monitor production and tooling performance.
* Participate in developing integrated tools and production master schedules.
* Identify and implement process improvements to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel.
* Analyze changes to approved plans and assess the impact on cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.
* Develop modifications to existing plans and obtain approvals.
* Participate in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations.
* Develop, implement, maintain, and update integrated shop operating plans.
* Develop and support shop performance metrics to recommend plans of action for Production and Tooling Management. Physical Requirements
