Role SummaryIn this role, you will support critical flight test projects for the 777-9 program, develop and implement installation plans for configuration changes, coordinate across manufacturing engineering teams, review installation plans for completeness and quality, identify removals and opportunities to reduce scope, review tooling for flightline compatibility, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring compliance with all quality and safety requirements. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have:
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, with ABET accreditation preferred.
* A minimum of 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Masters + 7 years).
* Assembly & Installation (A&I) Manufacturing Engineering (ME) skill code 66R at Level 4.
* Ability to support certification flight testing for Type Inspection Authorization (TIA).
* U.S. Person for purposes of export compliance. Preferred Skills
* You will have:
* Experience with systems, electrical, and propulsion disciplines (preferred, not required).
* Proficiency with CMES, PDM, CAPP, ENOVIA, CATIA, IVT, and IP edit/NCO generation tools.
* Experience incorporating change instructions, including PRR, LCCX, modifications, service bulletins, and 777 airplane configuration knowledge.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineering, production, and cross-functional teams. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able:
* Serve as a Tiger Team member on critical company flight test projects.
* Develop, review, and implement installation plans for configuration changes, including test-specific and production modifications.
* Coordinate with ME teams for PRR IP creation and revision.
* Review installation plans for completeness and quality, ensuring functional tests and BOM items are accounted for.
* Identify and plan removals and opportunities to reduce scope, including smaller or more specific functional tests.
* Review tooling requirements for compatibility with flightline operations.
* Support the certification of 777-9 aircraft modifications for Type Inspection Authorization (TIA).
* Provide input on process improvements, tooling, and reproducibility to support design and manufacturing teams.
* Maintain all documentation related to manufacturing processes, modifications, and installations.
