About the RoleAs a Machine Operator, you’ll be at the heart of aerospace manufacturing—learning to operate CNC and manual machines that produce precision components for aircraft systems. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn, grow, and contribute to something bigger.
Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (6 Months)
Location: Carroll, IA 51401
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM ($1.50/hr shift differential)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM ($2.00/hr shift differential)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr base + shift differentials
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with optional overtime and weekend hours
What You’ll Do- Learn to set up and operate CNC/manual machines under supervision
- Adjust machine settings and change tooling as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
- Follow safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
- Participate in training to become certified within 120 days
- Support production goals through teamwork and reliability
What You BringRequired:
- High School Diploma or GED (or 2 years of relevant experience)
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and occasional overtime
Preferred:
- Previous manufacturing or machining experience
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Basic understanding of shop math and geometric tolerances
- Familiarity with computers and digital documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
