Job Title: CNC MachinistJob Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a large manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in CNC machining, including programming, and will be adept at working with close tolerances on large products. The role involves machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials using a variety of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including Horizontal and Vertical Boring Mills.
- Perform large turning operations using vertical and horizontal lathes.
- Utilize multi-axis milling and turning equipment effectively.
- Conduct manual and CNC grinding tasks with precision.
- Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes.
Essential Skills- Minimum of five years of CNC machining experience.
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines.
- Ability to work with close tolerances on large-scale products.
- Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and machine operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Six years of experience preferred.
- High school diploma plus completion of a four-year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.

Work Environment
Our manufacturing environment is large, accommodating all work related to large machined parts. Employees work in shifts, with training on the 1st shift (daylight) but positions available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. As an IBEW unionized position, the role offers a structured pay scale with scheduled increases. The manufacturing facility is designed to ensure efficiency and comfort for all employees.
