Skills You Bring To this Role
· Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Aviation Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety or similar discipline. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
· At least 5 years working with aviation safety, product safety or quality programs.
· Experience working with regulations and standards, auditing to the same, identifying and conducting Root Cause analysis, identifying Corrective Actions, monitoring effectiveness. Six Sigma certification is beneficial.
· Ability to audit, analyze and communicate data, trends and safety information for use in change management of the culture and to enhance safety.
· Ability to prioritize work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
· Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, SMS team members, enterprise leaders at all levels, and brief leaders and regulators.
