Job Summary Are you ready to lead airside operations at one of Europe’s busiest airports? Swissport is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and optimize ground handling operations at Schiphol. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused flight operations for our airline partners. Your activities Lead and develop a team of OCC Duty Managers, Load Controllers, and Turnaround Coordinators; Ensure operational excellence and manage irregular operations; Drive continuous improvement in performance, communication, and procedures; Collaborate with Ramp Operations and airport authorities to ensure seamless airside coordination; Maintain compliance with Dutch labor law and Swissport policies; Analyze customer feedback to enhance service delivery and strengthen relationships; Deliver regular management reports and monitor KPIs. Your KPIs On-Time Performance (OTP) Operational quality and safety (e.g., LTI, ISO audits) Budget and personnel coverage Customer complaints and NPS scores Airline SLA compliance Staff attrition and absence rates Your profile 5+ years of leadership experience in operational environments; Strong background in customer or supplier relationship management; In-depth knowledge of airport operations, ground handling, and IATA regulations; HBO-level education or equivalent experience; Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills; Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams; Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities.
