About the Role
Bridger Aerospace is seeking a driven and experienced maintenance professional with a strong background in turboprop aircraft and team leadership to fill the role of Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments, consistently meets tight deadlines, and operates effectively with minimal oversight. This role is responsible for leading a team of ten+ maintainers and supporting a growing fleet of PC-12, Kodiak 100, and King Air aircraft. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Belgrade, Montana. This position requires frequent work outside the standard Monday-Friday business hours, including evenings and weekends, during fire season and peak activity periods.
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Perform Assistant Director of Maintenance duties as assigned, supporting the Director of Maintenance in oversight of maintenance operations, regulatory compliance, and departmental leadership.
- Provide leadership for a team of 10+ A&P mechanics, ensuring accurate timecard reporting, team scheduling, and individual performance evaluations.
- Responsible for determining aircraft serviceability in accordance with regulatory and company standards, including the decision to ground aircraft as necessary.
- Maintain 135 fleet airworthiness by ensuring all required maintenance tasks are completed on time.
- Coordinate with maintenance planning to develop and maintain accurate, timely, and effective maintenance schedules.
- Responsible for the overall readiness of our 135 fleet to include successful carding inspections with our customers.
- Ensure all mechanics are properly trained to perform their duties and comply with contractual training requirements. Partner with the Maintenance Training Manager to develop and implement both recurring and specialized training programs.
- Perform hands-on aircraft maintenance as needed to support operational demands.
Requirements:
- Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)
- Inspections Authorization (IA) preferred
- 5+ years of turbo-prop maintenance experience
- 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role
- Valid Driver’s License and passport
- Ability to Pass a DOT drug screening
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time
- Ability to be insured on company vehicles
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. FAR’s
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under no supervision and under high pressure
- Ability to lift 50lbs

- Ability to pass a criminal background check
