Role Summary
* In this role, you will manage and lead configuration and data management activities across the site, serving as the technical interface to customers while overseeing team performance, cost, quality, and schedule objectives. You will contribute directly to departmental goals by guiding configuration management processes, mentoring staff, and supporting business development initiatives. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior configuration and data management and/or related engineering discipline experience.
* A Graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior configuration and data management and/or related engineering discipline experience.
* In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior configuration and data management and/or related engineering discipline experience.
* Previous management experience.
* U.S. Citizenship.
* Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office programs.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Skills

* You will be able
* Manage experienced professionals representing the configuration and data management function for the site.
* Serve as the technical interface to the customer for all configuration and data management activities.
* Manage cost, quality, and schedule for all programs within span of control.
* Train, mentor, and provide direction to team members regarding requirements and job responsibilities.
* Develop, monitor, analyze, and implement changes based on team operational metrics.
* Manage the implementation of functional strategies and recommend operational plans impacting short- and mid-term business results.
* Champion new concepts, technologies, practices, and process improvements.
* Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight.
* Communicate within and outside the organization to gain cooperation on operational processes and procedures.
* Support business development activities, including estimating, subcontractor specifications, statements of work, and RFI/RFP responses and proposals.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
