Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform structural modifications and installations on Falcon jets at a Part 145 repair station. Responsibilities include wing tip modifications, winglet attachment, and fairing installation, as well as systems, lightning protection, and finishing work. You will follow provided templates and specifications, work with kit components, and ensure all structural, electrical, and finishing tasks meet STC and repair station standards. This role requires working onsite with your own tools and applying at least five years of related experience. Education & Job Requirements:
* You must have:
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
* A minimum of 5 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance and structural modifications.
* Falcon jet experience. (7x, F10, F20, F50, F900, F2000, etc.)
* Part 145 repair station experience.
* Authorized to work in the United States.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Own personal set of tools. Job Duties & Functions:
* Wing Tip Structural Modifications(Exact components vary by kit and may include the following)
* You will be able to:
* Trim, cut, and fit the existing wing tip structure in accordance with the provided templates.
* Install structural reinforcements, including doublers, ribs, fittings, shear ties, and localized skin reinforcements.
* Drill, ream, and countersink to specification; install Hi-Loks, lockbolts, and rivets per kit requirements.
* Apply corrosion protection and sealant as specified.
* Winglet Attachment and Fairing Installation
* You will be able to:
* Perform trial fit of winglet; align to datum points and verify sweep/cant angles per kit specifications.
* Final drill, match, and install attachment hardware.
* Install fillets and fairings; perform gap, flushness, and seal checks per specification.
* Systems, Lightning Protection, and Finishing
* You will be able to:
* Reconnect or install navigation and strobe lights (if relocated), wiring supports, and associated harness modifications.
* Install and verify bonding and lightning protection components, including bond straps and resistance checks.
* Reinstall static wicks and anti-static provisions in accordance with STC requirements.
* Perform priming and painting, including blend and final finish as required.
