A Quality Inspector will perform all defined Quality Inspections up to product delivery. The Inspector is responsible for red flagging all the deviations which occur on product, equipment and tools. They will also verify that the industrial environment, facilities, hardware & tools respond to the operations & safety requirements.
Contribute to investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality / quality technical issues from the business team and customer, to ensure appropriate containment and archiving, corrective and curative action is taken by the accountable function through multifunctional teams.
Perform Quality Inspections as per defined standards, Final Check and Attestation, Stop Points, Out of sequence work, including critical activities (when not delegated).
Ensure Operational Surveillance (people, product and process).
Provide feedback and coaching to Operations & Support Functions on Quality issues and observations from Operational Surveillance.
Quality Inspections and attestation of work orders when not delegated.
Operational Surveillance (process, product, people), Optimization of Inspection activities, fast response to quality issues, Process Improvement, Investigations and root cause analysis, Foreign object damage prevention, Opening / Closure of Non conformities where appropriate and support to the shop floor providing expertise in Q issues.
Carrying out Predictive Quality activities and Coaching to operations.
Inspect, attest and conduct surveillance, to conduct PPS, to prevent FOD, to manage Non conformities as appropriate, to be the go-to person on the shop floor for Quality issues.
To carry out Improvement, Prediction and Coaching as appropriate.

2 years of experience in an aviation company with an emphasis on mechanical and/or structural components and assemblies.
Preferred experience in a Quality Inspector position.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
Knowledge of drawing systems, inspection plans, and inspection coordination.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and tools used in the production line.
Handling and use of inspection tools for length measuring techniques (mechanical, electrical)
Relevant Airline/Aviation experience is desirable
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: FAA Airframe & Powerplant License, an A&P license including inspection authorization is preferred.
