SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Perform duties as A&P mechanic, if qualified.
- Perform duties as aircraft instrumentation flight crew member, as required.
- Experience in National Instruments LabView.
- Experience in a PCM data systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Unigraphics experience is a plus.
- Travel may be required.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical publications.
- Ability to use and maintain various pieces of ground support and test equipment as required.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate are required.
- Excellent written and verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.
- Use MS Office software to generate reports and calculations to support instrumentation configurations and documentation.
- Access to Export Control Information required.
- Regular attendance at the worksite.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years aircraft-related flight test instrumentation experience. The ideal candidate would have experience in a flight test instrumentation group that was involved in designing, installing, gathering, and reducing flight test instrumentation data.
