PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry to hire Production Operators who will play a vital role in assembling and testing electronic products that power today’s advanced technologies.
Role Summary & Impact
As a Production Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process — assembling, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electronic products and assemblies. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality directly impacts our ability to deliver world-class products to our customers. Every day you contribute to efficiency, reliability, and excellence across the production floor.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Perform hand soldering, manual assembly, and operate semi-automatic and automated equipment.
Set up, run, and conduct basic maintenance on assembly and test equipment.
Conduct visual, automated, electronic, and mechanical inspections to ensure product quality.
Use diagnostic programs to execute electronic product testing and functional testing.
Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate defects or process issues to team leads.
Move between operations and products based on schedule needs.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Required Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Certifications required by site operations relating to safety or specific assembly skills.
General knowledge of product process flow, manufacturing systems, and soldering quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and documentation.
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Familiarity with electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new shop floor applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Capability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and other typical shop conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, candidates with the following will stand out:
Experience with electronic assembly or testing environments.
Previous use of manufacturing information systems and automated test equipment.
A track record of identifying and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Prior exposure to lean or quality improvement processes.

Pay Details: $20.90 per hour
