Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of mechanical duties on Corporate Aircraft, such as the Praetor models. Your role involves diagnosing malfunctions and conducting necessary disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.
• Conduct airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.
• Execute routine inspections and troubleshooting for airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.
• Conduct turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.
• Perform airframe system, component changes, and systems checkout.
• Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
• Comprehend and complete all Aircraft Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance items.
• Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts; and test aircraft systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Sign for work accomplished, including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, and ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents.
• Build customer invoices using labor calculations, purchase orders, and parts mark-up calculations.
• Use equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
• Maintain a constant watch for safety and ensure work performed adheres to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor to reduce excessive labor duplication costs.
• Ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed, and approved hardware or supplies are used.

• Experience in aircraft maintenance.
• A&P Mechanic certification.
• Proficiency with Embraer aircraft, specifically Praetor models.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience on corporate or commercial aircraft such as Cirrus aircraft or ERJ commercial.
• Knowledge of corporate jets, including Praetor 600 and Praetor 500 models.

• A&P License preferred.

The work environment is based in a hangar at Music City Airport, operating Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM. Some on-call or evening/weekend hours may be required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
