Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P / Heavy Maintenance)
We are seeking skilled A&P Mechanics with heavy maintenance experience to support aviation maintenance operations in the Central Florida region. This role performs maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection of aircraft structures and systems to ensure airworthiness, safety, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and FAA-approved data. Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Rate: Up to $33.00/hour (DOE)
• Annual Earnings: Employees can earn approximately $75,000.00+ per year, depending on voluntary overtime

Key Responsibilities
• Perform aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection tasks in accordance with approved maintenance procedures
• Work from written and verbal instructions as assigned
• Record completed work accurately and assume responsibility for work performed through proper sign-off
• Use blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to complete assigned duties
• Service, troubleshoot, repair, modify, preserve, maintain, and overhaul aircraft systems and components
• Perform touch-up painting as needed within assigned task areas
• Maintain A&P license in current status and carry it while at work
• Support experimental or developmental work as assigned
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, and company quality requirements
• Maintain proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials related to assigned duties
Qualifications
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
• Minimum 2+ years of heavy maintenance experience required
• Wide-body aircraft maintenance experience preferred
• Heavy phase maintenance experience on military aircraft may be considered
• Must have completed required coursework at an accredited aviation academy
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings
• Must be proficient in the use of tools, gauges, instruments, and equipment required for assigned duties
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to obtain an airport SIDA badge, including passing a criminal background check
