Job Title: A&P Mechanic needed in Kinston NCJob Description
The Aircraft Technician is responsible for accurately repairing and performing scheduled maintenance on Cessna Citation Jets and some Gulfstream Aircraft, as well as conducting inspections as mandated by the FAA. The role involves typical line and scheduled maintenance duties, including RII items and 100-hour inspections.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on aircraft.
- Train and lead other employees in proper work techniques.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, work orders, and sketches to troubleshoot, repair, and install desired products or parts.
- Inspect and examine engines, wings, propellers, tails, and other parts to identify defects.
- Install new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or enhance aircraft performance.
- Repair sheet metal as needed.
Essential Skills- A&P License
- Experience with Cessna Citation or Gulfstream aircraft
- Minimum three years transport-category jet aircraft-related experience

Work Environment
The role is based at a small airport with several office buildings and maintenance hangars, many brand new with more under construction. Shifts range from 8 to 10 hours based on workload, and the schedule is a 4-3-3-4 rotation, covering weekend day and night shifts. Expect up to 5 percent travel, primarily local during business days, with some out-of-area and overnight travel possible.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.
