Role Summary
* In this role, you will program CNC manufacturing equipment and develop, implement, and maintain machining programs to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A minimum of 5 years of CAD/CAM programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to read drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, basic repair, and maintenance.
* Knowledge of safe working practices.
* Ability to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
* Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Program CNC manufacturing equipment, including 3-axis and 5-axis machines, CNC lathes, and routers to form or shape parts from raw materials.
* Use CAD/CAM programming systems to convert engineering drawings and change orders into machine G-code.
* Implement changes to machine programs and ensure current revision levels are accurate.
* Program future jobs while machines are operating to support production flow.
* Complete required documentation and follow up in a timely and orderly manner.
* Inspect and evaluate production parts to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications.
* Design, build, and repair basic mechanical equipment, specialty equipment, jigs, and fixtures as required.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned departmental equipment and machinery.
