We are seeking an A&P Mechanic to join our Hawker Team, specializing in Textron Hawker aircraft. Hone your expertise, working on models including the 400XP, 800XP, 850XP, 900XP, 4000 and other variants. In this role, youll perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications to ensure peak aircraft performance and safety. Ideal candidates have a valid FAA A&P license, strong mechanical aptitude, and a background in business aviation. What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain Textron Hawker aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, and specialized test equipment.
- Examine engines and components for wear, damage, cracks, leaks, or other defects.
- Perform disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of structural and mechanical parts.
- Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and environmental systems.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and service bulletins.
- Utilize aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics for accurate repair and documentation.
- Remove, repair, and reinstall flight control surfaces, landing gear, fuel systems, and powerplant components.
- Conduct functional and operational tests to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
- Complete engine runs, taxi checks, and troubleshoot discrepancies during post-maintenance checks.
- Use precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate and compliant maintenance records in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies in all aspects of aircraft servicing.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and departments to ensure aircraft are returned to service on schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have completed an FAA-certified Airframe Maintenance Technical School or equivalent Military Program.
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience performing heavy and light maintenance on corporate aircraft.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience working on Textron Hawker aircraft (400XP, 800/850XP, 900XP, 4000).
- 5+ years of A&P Mechanic experience in corporate aviation.
- Background in Business/Corporate Aviation and/or MRO environment.
- Completion of OEM training or certifications specific to Hawker models.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair.
