145 Repair Station Accountable Manager-Technician, Large Cabin Business Aircraft
Job Description:

The 145 Accountable Manager reports to the business owners and is the accountable point of contact for the FAA Part 145 operation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; Maintaining the CRS manual set, (RSM/QCM/CCD) with revisions as recommended due to audits accomplished in-house or by the FAA, oversight of the repair station calibrated tooling, equipment, facility vendors, drug and alcohol program, hazmat disposal vendors. The accountable manager is also the primary contact for customers, taking calls from aircraft owners, aircraft managers, to schedule maintenance.

This position also includes actively maintaining, and supervising other technicians maintaining customer aircraft, from occasional GA single engine, turboprop twins and singles, to large cabin business aircraft, including a based Falcon 900EX.  Salary and Relocation are negotiable. Notably, any relocation expenses negotiated will be reimbursed after an extended, to be determined, employment period.

Job Requirements:
  • FAA A&P license
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol pre-employment and random testing

  • Must possess technical communications skills regarding aircraft status, parts and components, general knowledge of repair station operations.

Aviation technician skills should include:

  • Large cabin, preferably Falcon maintenance experience
  • Avionics knowledge for performing navigation data, E-Charts data, SVS data, EGPWS data updates, engine DEEC downloads, Honeywell PEAF (Falcon Elite 2) CAS system message fault isolation and repair.
  • Other large cabin and Honeywell cockpit experience will be acceptable.

This position requires familiarity with FAR 135 10 or more or Part 121 Return to Service requirements, as the Falcon is currently operated under Part 135 for a large international management company. You will report to the Regional Maintenance Manager on the Falcon when performing maintenance and RTS. Since this aircraft operates as a charter aircraft, the responsible technician(s) are occasionally required to perform off hours and weekend duties.
