You will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing cargo with meticulous attention to detail, adhering strictly to safety and security protocols. Collaboration with team members to streamline operations and maintain a clean, organised workspace is essential. Our operations run seven days a week, with early starts and late finishes. Shift times depend on airline schedules, with the earliest start at 4:30 AM. We aim to provide an average consistent 6-hour shift during the week, though times may vary depending on airline requirements.
Your activities
Safely load and unload cargo from aircraft, trucks, and containers
Handle and transport goods with care and efficiency
Carry out inspections to ensure cargo meets safety and security standards
Accurately document and process import and export information
Operate equipment (e.g., forklifts, tugs) in line with training and safety procedures
Work closely with your team to keep operations running smoothly and on time
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Your profile
Valid state driver’s licence (essential)
Forklift experience or willingness to gain certification (preferred)
Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 32kg
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work irregular days/hours, including weekends and public holidays
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Basic computer/technology literacy for documentation and cargo processing
