Your day-to-day / What we are expecting from you / Your responsibilities 

•    Processes material requisitions, completes purchase orders, and forwards to supervisor for approval following departmental procedures.•    Expedites purchase orders, securing required delivery dates and quantities.•    Interviews vendors and investigates sources of supply consistent with lowest cost and acceptable quality standards.•    Maintains good relationships with all vendor companies and their representatives.•    Negotiates with appropriate vendors for the return and/or replacement of rejected materials.•    Becomes familiar with the material usage requirements for subsidiary operations. Assures that vendors are advised of pertinent information. 

Who we are looking for

•    Pursuing a bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.•    Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. •    Strong written and verbal communication skills. •    Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. •    Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Pay Range:  $20.00/hr to $22.00/hr
