Job Description

The Production Planner Analyst will support the analysis of production operations within the facility. This role involves monitoring production in various work areas, collaborating with machine operators and technicians, and gathering data through systems to input into SAP. The analyst will address issues such as bad materials, equipment malfunctions, and rework, ensuring efficient work practices. The role requires walking the shop floor to gather and input data into a computer.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of production operations around the facility.
• Monitor production in work areas and collaborate with machine operators and technicians.
• Gather and input data into SAP to address issues like bad materials and equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure efficient work practices and resolve rework issues.
• Walk the shop floor to gather and input data into computer systems.

• Proficiency in SAP for material and production tracking.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Production planning experience.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• SAP preferred.
• Experience in production planning and tracking.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a team implementing more efficient work processes to minimize waste and optimize time management. Starting with a six-month contract, there is a high potential for direct opportunities and long-term growth.

Work Environment

The work environment involves being in the union shop, working with paperwork and systems used to track work progress. Operators scan in on the shop floor, and this role involves documenting time stamps and control numbers to ensure accurate data collection. The shift is typically from 6 AM to 2:30 PM in the shop, but the CI team works from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Flexibility may be required depending on the workload, with potential for earlier or later hours.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
