Summary
We are looking for an intern to assist in building intelligent, automated infrastructure across cloud, network and end‑user computing (EUC). The intern will be working with experienced IT engineers to use AI, automation and observability to improve reliability, user experience and end‑to‑end fulfilment for IT services.
Responsibilities
AI‑Driven Automation & Tooling
Optimizing Cloud operations on GCP, service visualization using Grafana
Detect anomalies in performance and security‑relevant metrics and logs using AI
Design and prototype scripts, bots or workflows to automate remediation
Reliability, Security & Observability
Help build and improve dashboards, alerts and health checks for network and EUC services
Contribute to defining and tracking SLOs/SLIs, including service availability, latency, change/fulfilment times, security‑related indicators (e.g. patch compliance, endpoint health, failed logins, basic vulnerability/Ticket ageing)
User Experience, Security & Fulfilment Lead Time
Analyze end‑to‑end workflows for cloud resources (including secure baselines and access controls), Network changes (including firewall/DNS), EUC requests (e.g. laptops, software, MDM, VPN & etc.)
Identify bottlenecks and propose automation or process improvements to shorten fulfilment lead times while maintaining service quality
Requirements
Familiarity with cloud fundamentals (IaaS, PaaS, containers) and basic networking concepts.
Experience with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g. Python, Java, or Shell).
Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP or Azure) – even via school projects.
Basic understanding of monitoring/observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, CloudWatch, etc.).
Interest in SRE / DevOps / Platform Engineering and AI‑assisted automation.
Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
