CanWest Air is growing and we are looking for experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) to join our expanding Air Ambulance program in Northern Alberta.
Operating from bases in High Level and Fort Vermilion, our Flight Paramedics provide emergency and interfacility transport to remote and underserved communities across the region. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic aviation environment while practicing advanced medicine alongside a supportive and evolving team.

What You’ll Do
- Provide patient care within ACP scope of practice and Alberta Medical Control Protocols (MCPs)
- Deliver emergency and interfacility air medical transport throughout Northern Alberta
- Work collaboratively with Pilots, Communications, Medical Oversight, and allied healthcare teams
- Participate in a growing critical care and air medical transport environment
- Operate safely and professionally in a dynamic aviation setting

Required Qualifications
- Active ACP registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
- Current PALS
- Valid Class 4 Driver’s License
- Professional Liability Insurance ($5,000,000 minimum)
- Ability to work safely and effectively within an aviation environment
