You will analyze engineering results and perform formal design reviews with minimal direction, lead engineering activities related to electrical and electronic installation design, provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies, including rejection tags, production action requests, and shop revision requests, and support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities through clear documentation and technical leadership.
Education & Job Requirements
* You must have:
* A minimum of 10 years of aerospace design experience.
* A minimum of 9 years of related work experience obtained through advanced technical education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Proficiency in NX. Preferred Skills
* You must have:
* Experience with model-based design.
* Experience using Teamcenter.
* Military aircraft design experience.
* Experience in structures or subsystems design.
* Education from an ABET-accredited program. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able to:
* Develop and maintain detailed cable and wire harness designs and assemblies.
* Perform and lead design reviews and technical analyses.
* Provide engineering disposition for production and design discrepancies.
* Document processes, specifications, and procedures supporting electrical design and manufacturing.
* Develop complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets.
* Perform technical reviews of supplier capabilities to support source selection.
* Execute equipment installation design for F-15 new development and production programs.
* Design installation hardware, including trays, shelves, adapters, and ECS ducts.
