Role Summary
* In this role, you will serve as a Technical Designer supporting Boeing’s Seats Integration Team (SIT) in Everett or Renton, WA. You will develop and maintain engineering product definition, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with design standards, and support the full product lifecycle from design through production and certification. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* An AA degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A minimum of 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with engineering product definition and integration.
* Ability to interface with suppliers, airlines, and internal teams to validate and verify design requirements.
* Experience in design for manufacturing processes.
* Technical software experience, such as Visual Basic, Python, or Java.
* Ability to work onsite in Everett, WA, with possible travel to Renton, WA. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Lead the development and maintenance of engineering product definition.
* Oversee the development of design layouts and modify existing designs to satisfy customer and production requirements.
* Develop engineering product definition based upon company requirements and parameters.
* Coordinate product definition with internal and external parties to ensure compliance with standards, requirements, and product functionality.
* Integrate work statements, work scope, and work transfer packages with internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee and integrate the completion of product definition across internal and external business partners.
* Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing processes or engineering-related issues.
* Verify the accuracy of engineering data produced by others. Physical Requirements
