Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer III to embed within USSOCOM HQ in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will support PEO-TIS, specifically doing work with several SIGINT PED programs/projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and review test plans and test reports for Signals Intelligence and SIGINT PED equipment for Special Operations Forces
- Evaluate new technology in support of program requirements documents, research & development programs, and Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) projects
- Acquire and draft documentation and test data in support of Fielding & Deployment Release (F&DR) processes for equipment fielded for multi-domain, multi-platform systems
- Plan and execute field experimentation of developmental and fielded equipment to validate technology readiness, verify advertised capabilities, and demonstrate mission concepts
- Support developmental projects through program of record transition (TRL 7+) and interface with developer teams to support project management
- Maintain records of developmental projects, system testing, R&D funding requirements, and SOF mission concepts to support business processes and institutional knowledge within the Integrated Sensor Systems program

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering industry principles and practices
- Knowledge of SOF C5ISR systems, organization, and methodologies
- The minimum years of related experience required: 10
Education:
- The minimum level of education required is: Bachelors Degree
Clearance:
- Must hold an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of USSOCOM SIGINT PED programs/projects

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
