Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform structural stress analysis to ensure aircraft structures meet strength, durability, damage tolerance, and certification requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
* A minimum of 12 years of related work experience in aircraft stress analysis.
* Experience performing structural analysis on metallic and/or composite aircraft structures.
* Experience using analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and analysis tools.
* Experience supporting product design and verifying structural integrity across the product lifecycle.
* Experience in defining and documenting certification and test results for regulatory compliance.
* Ability to work under minimal direction.
* Ability to work onsite full-time.
* Ability to meet U.S. export compliance requirements. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Coordinate with engineering groups to establish the products structural environment.
* Support product design by verifying structural integrity using analytical methods and finite element analysis.
* Develop structural characteristics and performance data throughout the product lifecycle.
* Define and document certification and test results to demonstrate compliance with requirements.
* Support analysis activities across fuselage, wing, and empennage, propulsion structures, systems stress, interiors stress, and seats stress disciplines.
