The Strategic Sourcing Principal Specialist will be part of a team that enables the worldwide propulsion repair value stream from planning to source identification, forecasting, and capacity for all P&W Military Engine (ME) Programs.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for all aspects of people management including staffing, staff development, training, tool and process development, task assignments, and administration of performance appraisals.
- Develop, review, and provide feedback on detailed documentation from the team that describes technology reasons, roadmaps, requirements, and the relationship between people, process, and the technology components as it relates to modernizing new or existing systems used for authoring, publishing, and distributing technical publications.
- Champion strategic planning to ensure technology obsolescence is continually assessed; define and manage technology roadmap as it pertains to business and customer needs and align those needs with latest industry standards and technology; define and implement Model Based Enterprise (MBE) into our technical data value streams.
- Communicate and manage relationships with internal teams and key product vendors.
- Develop partnerships with multiple leaders across the organization ensuring solutions development and strategic initiatives are considered part of a single cohesive vision.
- Responsible for leading the team in continually making improvements to existing processes, systems development, or product integration.
- Define needs of customers for expanded use of digital data that integrates with USG and partners systems to deliver revisions efficiently and timely, including delivery of data through the customer portal and engage with the Engineering value stream to improve quality of digital data flow.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or Business with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in afterspanet supply chain or related field with advanced proficiency desired in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, PowerBI, Business Objects or other platforms.; or an advanced degree in with 3+ years of similar experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Up to 10 travel capability

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
