Our Objectives
Boeing Korea Software Engineering Internship program is an exceptional opportunity to start your career with industry experience beyond or based on your academic experience with Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace company. Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking enthusiastic candidates who have expertise and interest in a specific position’s requirements. This internship period typically lasts for 6 months.
Responsibilities :
Support embedded & system software projects by designing, developing and testing software functions for aviation software solutions
Assist documenting and building software functional requirements and verifications
Work as a member of the international team where English is the common language
Basic requirements :
Currently an enrolled students or recent graduates, have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher with majoring in computer science or engineering or related studies.
Knowledge of computer science/engineering fundamentals, such as operating system, data structure, software design, algorithms, etc.
Programming experience in computer languages, such as C/C++, Python, etc.
Proper English communication skills (read and write)
Creativity, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and expand their skillsets
Experience in software development in Linux-based environment such as Ubuntu, RHEL or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work full-time for months during the calendar year, ideally 6 months.
Experience in Agile for software engineering
Experience in development environments such as Git, CI/DevOps tools
Good to have knowledge and experience in avionics software components
Hands-on experiences with developments boards, such as Raspberry-pi, Aduino, or equivalent
Basic understanding of Linux kernel, such as processes, schedulers, memory allocators, etc.
Basic understanding of POSIX APIs and hands-on experience in multi-process programming
