About the role
As the Graphic Design Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality visual content across various formats, including branded event materials, digital and print communication assets, custom illustrations, infographics, layout design, and basic motion graphics. The role involves concept development, visual storytelling, and executing creative solutions that effectively communicate messages while aligning with Qatar Airways Group brand standards and identity. Additionally, this role requires a proactive and innovative individual who can work independently, meet tight deadlines, and effectively implement feedback.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop creative concepts and visual solutions for internal communications, campaigns, events, and employee engagement initiatives while maintaining Qatar Airways Group brand consistency to drive operational excellence.
• Design event branding assets, giveaways, trophies, internal communication visuals (digital and print), and other employee-facing collateral with high attention to detail to support business needs.
• Create engaging illustrations, infographics, and motion graphics to enhance content clarity and employee engagement across internal platforms.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and project brief development, offering fresh design approaches and creative input aligned with communication goals.
• Prepare and export artwork that meets production standards and specifications for print and digital formats, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver final designs within agreed timelines to adhere to deadlines.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and printing partners, clearly communicating design specifications and QR standards to ensure flawless production.
• Support developing and reviewing design mockups and pre-production samples to ensure deliverables meet quality expectations.
• Edit and enhance images as required, ensuring high-quality composition, clarity, and alignment with intended messaging and brand aesthetics.
• Stay updated on the capabilities and limitations of internal communication platforms to ensure optimal visual representation across channels.
• Ensure artwork complies with Qatar Airways Group brand guidelines and communication standards, making necessary revisions during the review and approval process to drive operational excellence.
• Maintain an organized digital archive of completed assets and project files for easy access and re-use.
• Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
