Build Software That Protects a NationPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer – Developer to support the C2BMC National Team Program, a mission-critical component of the U.S. Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). In this role, you’ll help develop advanced software solutions that defend the United States and its allies from missile threats across all phases of flight.
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
What You’ll DoAs a core member of the software development team, you will:
Design and develop Java-based mathematical algorithms for missile defense systems.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and issue resolution.
Participate in Agile planning, sprint execution, and code reviews.
Support software requirements and architecture development.
Develop and execute integration and test processes, tools, and documentation.
Work 100 onsite with occasional domestic travel (up to 10).
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
9+ years of engineering experience (or 7+ with a Master’s, 4+ with a PhD).
Proficiency in Java or Java Spring.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing complex mathematical algorithms (e.g., tracking, correlation, guidance, battle management).
Ability to translate MATLAB-based algorithms into Java-based implementations.
Background in aerospace or defense software systems.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $78.00 per hour
