Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $48.50-$53.50/Hour
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Oversee systems engineering efforts and deliverables for a large-scale, integrated hardware and software system, including CONOPS, requirements, testing, and system modeling.
Develop and manage system-level requirements using DOORS and other requirements tools.
Support all phases of the system development life cycle, from architecture and analysis to integration and test.
Create and maintain system documentation, including software/hardware test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
Conduct software and hardware systems testing and contribute to verification and validation efforts.
Utilize MBSE tools (e.g., MagicDraw) for developing system models such as block definition, sequence, and activity diagrams.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams and subgroups to ensure system integrity and project alignment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
U.S. Citizenship required by Federal law.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Proficiency in the full systems development life cycle, including requirements management, system test, and system modeling.
Experience with DOORS for requirements management.
Proficiency in developing test plans, cases, and procedures for integrated software/hardware systems.
Experience with software systems engineering and design/testing of full-stack hardware/software solutions.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools such as MagicDraw.
Background in CONOPS development and generating detailed test reports.
Agile development experience preferred.
