Electrical Hardware Design Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace / Defense company. In this job you will join our cross-disciplinary team responsible for designing advanced electronic hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new 3U VPX modules that enhance the capabilities and cyber-resilience of mission-critical systems.
• Engage in all program phases, including requirements analysis, schematic capture, routing constraints definition, PCB/PWB routing oversight, and support for manufacturing, integration, testing, and qualification.

Qualifications:

• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other lab test equipment.
• Experience designing PCBs/PWBs using Siemens Xpedition, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces (10G+ Ethernet, PCIe Gen 4+, etc.)
• Knowledge of VITA/VPX standards including VITA 46 and 65.
• Knowledge of Siemens Xpedition for schematic entry, constraint definition, and signal integrity/power integrity analysis.
