Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job DescriptionAs an Electronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and testing electronic circuit card assemblies. You will utilize your expertise in schematic diagrams to isolate failures in both analog and digital circuitry, ensuring the smooth operation of electronic equipment. This position is based at our Clearwater site in Oldsmar, FL, where you will work with state-of-the-art equipment in a climate-controlled facility.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electronic components to the board level.
- Utilize schematic diagrams to diagnose failures in analog and digital circuits.
- Set up test apparatus and conduct tests on electronic circuit card assemblies according to established methods and standards.
- Assemble units for production electronic equipment based on designs and specifications.
- Adjust and calibrate systems as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
- Use hand and power tools, as well as various measuring and testing devices, to perform job duties.
- Determine the types of tests to be performed and suggest modifications to testing equipment.
- Analyze test results to evaluate the performance of products and equipment.
Essential Skills- Troubleshooting at the component level.
- Experience with radio frequency systems.
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, signal generators, and power analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry.
- Ability to produce at a high level in support of customer schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 4 years of direct experience in electronics troubleshooting.
- Proficient in component level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuits.
- Experience using Automated Test Equipment.
- RF testing experience and familiarity with radar systems.
- Ability to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs for accurate documentation.
- Experience with flying probe/high power testing.

Work Environment
The work environment is a huge manufacturing facility in Oldsmar, FL, that is regulated and safety-conscious. The facility is climate-controlled and air-conditioned, with well-spaced workstations for employees. The position offers two shifts: 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off, and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
