PAL Aerospace is currently seeking qualified applicants for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics/Mission System/Technical Support) position in our Curacao, Netherlands Antilles base

This is a permanent position, which requires relocation to Curacao, and it may include scheduled deployments required to support operations.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out the inspection, repair, and servicing of company aircraft
• Troubleshooting Mission System software, hardware, and associated integration 
• Carry out line maintenance and troubleshooting of related aircraft and mission systems
• Working both independently and in team environment
• Co-ordinate part requirements with Maintenance Management and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions
• Comply with all company safety practices and procedures
• Complete all required training as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICS or military equivalent.
• Preferred: E license or equivalent rating.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
• MS Windows systems support
• Formal Qualification in Aerospace/Aviation industry
• Experience with Mission systems, Radar and Thermal Imaging equipment – preferred
• EO/IR (Electro Optic/Infra Red Systems) – preferred
• Working Knowledge of the Dash 8 aircraft – preferred 
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Must posses strong troubleshooting skills 
• Must posses strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• English is essential
