Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob Description
The Avionics Technician will be responsible for working on aircraft installations, specifically on the Dash 8 Q400. This role includes bench work, airframe work, cockpit installations, and floor wire installations. The technician will need to interpret wiring diagrams and handle wire harnesses. Additional tasks include line maintenance, installation, conversions, and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Work on aircraft installations including Dash 8 Q400 and bench work.
- Handle airframe, cockpit, and floor wiring installations.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and manage wire harnesses.
- Conduct line maintenance, installations, conversions, and repairs.
Required Skills- Minimum of 2 years experience in avionics installation.
- Licensed or unlicensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with line maintenance and installation work on Q400.
- Proficiency in electrical and avionics repair and aircraft maintenance.

Work Environment
The team consists of 5-6 people working collaboratively under the guidance of a team lead or lead hand to ensure aircraft functionality. Employees are required to bring basic tooling; specialized tools are provided. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 10-hour days from 6 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
