The LRHW program is seeking a Systems Administrator to join the team in Rocket City USA Huntsville, AL

As a Systems Administrator you will perform a variety of tasks to include, but not limited to, the following:
• Assessing server loads
• Technical configuration through the installation of services, updating/creating the asset management records
• Troubleshooting hardware/software interface problems
• Participate in the drafting, review, and release of requirements specification documents
• Perform system analysis
• Participate in studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities
• Participate in design reviews and technical product reviews

Basic Qualifications:
• Familiar with one or more of the following through school projects or work experience:
a) Windows OS
b) Linux OS
c) Oracle database servers
d) DNS servers
e) Domain controllers
f) Network storage devices
g) HP or Dell servers
h) Designing, configuring and installing information systems
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance -
U.S. Citizenship Required
Desired Skills:
• Security + Certification (Will need obtain within first 6 months)
• Experience working in a teaming/collaborative environment
• Experience deploying physical and virtual Windows and Linux Systems
• System Admin experience with network
storage systems (SAN server / NAS server)
• Basic network configuration, particularly on Linux and Windows Hosts and Cisco & Juniper routers/firewalls
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment as part of the daily program operations
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
