Let’s take your technical skills to new heights!Role SummaryIn this role, you will perform stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures, equipment racks, and interior items using classical and finite element methods, provide design and liaison engineering stress support for structural modifications, and prepare detailed stress analysis reports to ensure structural integrity and certification compliance. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A minimum of a B.S. degree in Aerospace, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field of study.
* A minimum of 18 years of experience in aircraft structural analysis.
* Experience in the modification of transport category and general aviation aircraft.
* Proficiency in classical stress analysis.
* Proficiency in finite element analysis using MSC/NASTRAN and PATRAN.
* Experience in the analysis of aircraft structural repairs.
* Experience preparing stress reports for aircraft certification.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Preferred Skills
* You will have
* Fatigue and damage tolerance analysis experience.
* Knowledge of commercial and military aircraft certification requirements.
* A minimum of 1 year of previous experience with the client. Job Duties & Functions
