We are seeking a business focused, expert HR professional to join the HR team of Digital Aviation Solutions. The role will provide strategic and operational HR support and services to Jeppesen business teams working in partnership with global business and HR teams.

The Digital Aviation Solutions business unit is in the process of transitioning to private equity ownership. The position will play a key role in supporting the global success of the newly formed company and the HR function’s objective to provide world class HR service and employee experience. It is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is inspired by the opportunities that this change will bring for the business and the organization and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.
The Neu-Isenburg office is home to almost 500 employees. Focused on global navigation services, the Neu-Isenburg office supports the portfolio of digital analytics and geospatial services.
The Senior HR Business Parther will be required to collaborate and partner across a wide network of international business leaders, employees and HR teams to support business success and outcomes. This is a truly business-facing and globally integrated role.
Position Responsibilities:
Deliver direction, guidance and leadership to support world class HR operational service delivery and employee experience to businesses, leaders and employees located in Germany.
Contribute to the development of the new company culture where employee experience is at the centre of HR service delivery.
Deliver a climate of trust and employee engagement which investigates employee concerns or complaints, develops resolutions, and counsels employees.
Drive labour relation activities with the German works council.
Work closely with business leaders to understand their business plans to help deliver outcomes from strategic People Plans into operational HR service delivery plans and actions.
Partner with global HR teams (HR Business Partners, specialized HR Centres of Excellence and HR Services) to develop HR solutions and services which deliver business value and support employee experiences.
Qualifications:
Proven track record delivering senior HR Business Partner services and support in a complex matrix environment, ideally, to a software development business.
Demonstrated capability to assimilate data and information quickly, earn respect and work with complex briefs in a short timescale.
Subject matter expertise in Germany HR policies, practices and legal framework.
Demonstrated experience of working with cross functional teams to lead successful business growth and value.
A high degree of cultural sensitivity, demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-cultural and business teams, preferably within a large global business.
Demonstrated experience of supporting HR change management programmes to support business initiatives and change.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high impact communication style.
Proven track record of influencing skills and decision making to deliver HR support and services in a complex matrix environment.
Demonstrated experience of using HR data systems and project management techniques – analysis and interpretation of data, projects and information. Proven Microsoft Office skills.
Fluency both in German and in English is required.
University degree or recognized equivalent required, Masters’ degree in HR Management, Business or a related field preferred. Professional HR accreditation preferred.
