Role Summary
* Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Supports production readiness by integrating suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing, cost, quality, and delivery requirements while working under general supervision. Education & Job Requirements
* Associate (AA) degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Level 3 qualification with 4 or more years of related manufacturing planning or production support experience
* Experience in manufacturing planning and production support
* Experience reading, interpreting, and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, engineering drawings, and process procedures
* Experience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
* U.S. Person status for purposes of Export Compliance Preferred Skills
* STEM-focused Associate’s degree
* Experience in Model-Based Design
* Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
* Experience with MESci or similar manufacturing execution systems
* Experience with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems (e.g., CompassContract)
* Experience with CAD software suites
* Experience with Windchill or similar engineering management databases
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to various audiences Job Duties & Functions
* Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to document as-built configuration
* Support the development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
* Review supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met
* Identify tooling requirements and initiate tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
* Assist with tooling disposition activities
* Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues of limited scope
* Assist with reproducibility assessments for part or product designs
* Provide input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedule objectives
* Develop work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
* Assist in the review, maintenance, and monitoring of internal manufacturing documentation
