Job Title: Crew Scheduler
Reports To: Asst Manager Crew Scheduling
Location: MIA Headquarters
OBJECTIVE
Global Crossing Airlines is looking to hire an experienced Crew Scheduler to assign flight crews efficiently and strategically to various flights while adhering to all regulatory compliance standards, ensuring optimal utilization of personnel while prioritizing safety and crew member well-being by managing schedules, coordinating with flight crews, and adapting to operational changes to maintain smooth flight operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience in scheduling, operations, logistics, dispatch, customer service, or another time-critical coordination role (aviation or non-aviation)
- Basic understanding of shift work, scheduling concepts, or operational environments
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to learn crew scheduling systems (e.g., RAIDO or similar software)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure and make time-sensitive decisions
- Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport security clearances and pass background checks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in airline operations, crew scheduling, dispatch, or aviation support roles
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 117 and 14 CFR Part 121 duty and rest regulations
- Experience using crew or workforce scheduling systems
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, logistics, or related field
- Experience in operations control, transportation, or logistics environments
- Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements or work rules
- Experience coordinating travel, hotels, or crew logistics
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Crew scheduling coordinator will open scheduling operations using the crew scheduling shift checklist. (GCA-CL-FO-362). The checklist ensures that crew scheduling is ready to perform all operational control functions.
• Monitor the RAIDO computer system to ensure all crewmember duty time limitations and training qualifications.
• Monitor flight duty and rest activity to ensure Crewmember legality and rest requirements are in compliance with 14 CFR Part 117 and 14 CFR Part 121.467 regulations.
• Enter and edit all crewmember changes in the RAIDO computer system on a day-to-day basis as soon as such changes take place
• Monitors and track crews in conjunction with the on-duty Dispatcher
• Ensure no crewmember shall be scheduled for duty without complete training records
• Monitor daily operations crew legalities
• Sends the Crew Travel Coordinator the travel, hotel and car rental arrangements request in order to coordinate and purchase crew accommodations and commercial arrangements.
• Schedulers are required to be thoroughly familiar with all crew members reports. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experienced in 14 CFR 117 and 121.467 Regulations
• Understands flight crew working environment
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize
• Fluent with many different forms of computer software including, Microsoft Office Suite
• Quick learner and ability to be assertive
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language
• Team player
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances
