Role Introduction
Reports to: Assistant Manager Global Distribution System Management
Ensure an integrated and consistent approach including the rollout and adoption of New Distribution Capability & Technolgies
Understanding business requirements of key partners using New Distribution Capability (NDC). Focus on the customers’ success to ensure that key partners are supported throughout their migration to NDC from both a commercial and technical perspective. Support the NDC onboarding by designing and building an efficient process to be adopted for global spanets roll-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our partners in their migration to adopting NDC or newer distribution methods and technologies
- Support the account team to deliver both commercial and technical support for key partners
- Evaluating impact on costs and implement adequate monitoring of the NDC associated initiatives
- Provides proactive and constructive input to projects across Commercial teams to maximise profitability
- Works with partners and sales team to ensure successful role out of NDC in their spanet
- Work closely with the IT teams to ensure that our partners’ needs can be handled by the Cathay Pacific IT architecture
- Understand requirements of developers, aggregators, agents and GDS connections. Assist the sales team to translate commercial, legal and technical requirements into appropriate language
- Participating in various projects in Distribution Strategy areas if required
Requirements
- University graduate in business or relevant areas
- A minimum of 3 years of a B2B or B2C eCommerce or sales related experience
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment that requires excellent time management and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Understanding of airline selling processes including revenue management, retail and distribution is a plus
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders on commercial and resource priorities
- Comfortable interpreting data from multiple sources
